Position: Events Assistant

Location: Toledo, OH

Schedule: Weekends Off

Salary: $780 - $1,125 per week

Work Type: In-person (strictly on-site)

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for enhancing our organization's visibility and engagement within the community, as well as strengthening our internal communications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement communication strategies that support organizational goals.
• Create and edit engaging content for newsletters, press releases, and website updates.
• Manage and maintain social media accounts, including content scheduling and audience engagement.
• Coordinate media outreach and develop relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Conduct research and analyze communication metrics to measure effectiveness and inform future strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, marketing or a similar role.
• Proficient in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with graphic design software and/or video editing tools is a plus.
