Del Amo Motorsports - General Manager Job Description Del Amo Motorsports, established in 1985, is one of the largest and fastest-growing Powersports dealerships in Southern California, operating for over 39 years. We are recognized as industry leaders in customer service and as a comprehensive one-stop shop for our customers' needs. We are seeking a qualified General Manager with at least 5 years of experience in a multi-line Powersports dealership, including roles such as General Manager or General Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to develop and coach staff at all levels, and a proven track record of delivering consistent results. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Bilingual ability in Spanish is preferred but not required. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and incentives, including: Medical, vision, and dental insurance Matching 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Job Type: Full-time Salary: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 annually, including commissions Essential Responsibilities Develop annual dealership sales forecasts, estimating vehicle sales, gross profit, operating expenses, and departmental budgets. Monitor daily traffic and walk-in logs, ensure adherence to sales processes, and train staff accordingly. Manage staffing, recruitment, hiring, and training across all departments. Oversee daily operations of Sales, Parts, Service, and Administrative departments. Maintain communication and harmony between departments. Achieve financial targets as per the dealership budget. Implement and monitor dealership systems, morale, and customer satisfaction initiatives. Conduct regular meetings with department managers and staff, with written agendas. Hire management staff, evaluate performance, and set departmental goals. Plan and develop short and long-term dealership strategies and submit projections for approval. Provide weekly financial reports and coordinate record-keeping with administrative staff. Maintain relationships with lenders and manufacturer representatives. Oversee employee compensation plans and develop cost-effective advertising and merchandising strategies. Manage vehicle inventory, promotions, and display standards. Address customer complaints to ensure high satisfaction levels. Forecast sales and expenses, prepare budgets, and monitor financial performance. Recruit, train, motivate, and monitor sales staff, including processing commissions and payroll. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations affecting vehicle sales. Review inventory levels and adjust stock for optimal turnover. Coordinate advertising efforts, website development, and industry trend updates. Maintain dealership policies, dress code, and overall appearance. Perform additional duties as necessary for dealership success. Preferred Qualifications Strong background and experience in the motorsports industry. Proficiency in computer software including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
