Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to join our team in Oakland, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting daily human resources operations while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. This is an in-person role requiring availability Monday through Friday. Responsibilities: - Manage administrative tasks such as answering inbound calls and handling billing functions efficiently. - Utilize accounting software systems to support payroll and financial processes. - Assist with the implementation and monitoring of CRM systems to enhance employee data management. - Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and record-keeping. - Support onboarding and training processes for new hires. - Coordinate schedules and communicate effectively with team members and external partners. - Monitor compliance with HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational standards. - Provide assistance in managing employee benefits and compensation inquiries. - Prepare and distribute internal communications, including banners and advertisements. - Maintain accurate documentation and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information. Requirements - Proficiency in accounting software and systems, including ADP. - Familiarity with CRM tools and computer programs for efficient data management. - Experience handling billing functions and clerical duties. - Strong communication skills, particularly in answering inbound calls and coordinating with stakeholders. - Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy. - Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, particularly in compliance monitoring. - Previous experience with employee onboarding and benefits administration. - Capability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
