• Compensation: $20-24 per hour
• Worksite Location: Sartell, MN

What you’ll do as the Medical Billing Specialist:

• Provide professional and exceptional customer service to all
• Work with co-workers and managers to ensure a pleasant work environment and to promote teamwork
• Post manual and electronic medical insurance billing payments
• Protect the privacy and confidentiality of clients and company
• Monitor each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount as per fee schedule
• Work closely with the Billing Team Supervisor to improve workflow
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the Medical Billing Specialist role:

• Knowledge of EOBs and experience with EFTs, lockbox, and manual payments as well as insurance forward balance and recoupment
• Ability to work independently, balance daily deposits, and adhere to deadlines
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of post-secondary education in a Medical or Business-related field is preferred
• Prior medical billing or accounting experience required
• Strong attention to detail
