Job Description

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll accurately and on time on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis
• Maintain and update employee payroll records
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax and labor laws
• Handle wage garnishments, deductions, and benefits administration
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries
• Prepare payroll reports for internal use and external audits
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation

Qualifications

• 1+ years of payroll processing experience preferred
• Proficient in payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, or Gusto
• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and compliance standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
