**Job Description:**
At Regions, the Business Unit Operations Manager manages a supervisor or a team of associates performing a variety of operational activities within a line of business.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Provides oversight to associates
+ Ensures compliance with bank policy and all applicable federal regulations and state laws
+ Participates in long-term or strategic planning for departments
+ Develops and maintains written departmental policies and procedures
+ Consistently analyzes and reviews workflow for process improvements
+ Determines departmental structure and allocates resources
+ Meets established production and quality standards
+ Manages departmental budget
+ Prepares reports and analyzes key metrics
+ Offers advice and guidance to junior associates, assisting in the development of necessary skills and the promotion of continuous improvement initiatives
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
**Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Seven (7) years of experience in banking or related field
+ Three (3) years of supervisory/management experience
**Preferences**
+ Bachelor's degree or some college experience
**Skills and Competencies**
+ Ability to learn additional systems as needed
+ Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
+ Ability to supervise and manage a team
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
+ Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
+ Strong work ethic and self-motivation
This Manager will lead a team of Investment Services Productivity Coaches would be responsible for supporting and coaching Financial Advisors to grow their practices. This role would focus on developing a strong, unified team, coaching individuals, and implementing strategies to improve Advisor productivity and client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Coaching and Mentoring:**
Provide ongoing guidance and support to Financial Advisors and Area Investment Executives, helping them build their practices, improve their sales skills, and develop their business acumen.
+ **Team Development:**
Build a high-performing team by fostering collaboration, communication, and shared goals.
+ **Business Growth Strategies:**
Assist Advisors in developing and implementing effective strategies for new client acquisition, client retention, and business development.
+ **Goal Setting and Performance Management:**
Help Advisors and Investment Executives set realistic goals, track their progress, and provide feedback to support their growth.
+ **Process Improvement:**
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance Advisor efficiency and productivity utilizing technology.
+ **Data Analysis and Reporting:**
Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and create reports to support business decisions.
+ **Compliance and Risk Management:**
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management policies.
Strongly prefer FINRA registrations, including Series 7 and 63 & 65 or 66
Strongly prefer previous brokerage investment and management experience

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
