Are you passionate about groundbreaking research and advancing cancer treatment? We are seeking a Senior Research Assistant – RNA to join our RNA Therapeutics Lab. This role is pivotal in supporting the manufacture, characterization, and innovation of mRNA-based personalized cancer vaccines. You will focus on enhancing our DNA/RNA production and analytical capacity while driving design and process development improvements.

Role Overview:

• Produce mRNA vaccines using in vitro transcription for preclinical evaluation.
• Characterize RNA and DNA to ensure drug substance quality.
• Optimize design and process parameters for efficient mRNA production.
• Evaluate DNA-based platforms for optimal mRNA potency.
• Develop robust processes for tech transfer to GMP operations.
• Innovate novel mRNA-based technologies, including alternate cap molecules and chemical synthesis techniques.
• Collaborate with formulation, analytical, research, and GMP teams for optimal mRNA designs.
• Draft standard operating procedures for tech transfer.
• Analyze data and create visual representations using software tools.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Train other laboratory personnel as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

• B.S. in molecular biology/biochemistry or related field with 7 years of relevant experience, or M.S. with 4 years of experience.
• Ph.D. is preferred.

• Pay Range: $75,500 - $116,900
