This position offers opportunities for flexible scheduling and rewarding assignments across diverse healthcare settings. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures while maintaining high standards of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results in compliance with medical regulations.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
• Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and best practices.

Requirements

• Certification as an Ultrasonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) is required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic imaging principles.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Experience in Ob/Gyn or diagnostic radiology is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
